In his free time, he enjoys traveling to warm places, playing the guitar, teaching his son how to write good software, and designing and building 3D printers.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Steven engineered sophisticated data systems for Fortune 500 companies and mom and pop shops alike. He has contributed to free software and open source projects, and continues to develop software tools to promote efficient legal work. As a young man, he worked in construction, food service, retail, insurance sales, telecommunications, and farm labor.
He is a founding member of numerous tech businesses, including GeniusWeb which provided e-commerce services for thousands of individuals and companies, and has over 30 years of experience managing and advising small business entities.
