If you're concerned that you may have a warrant, there are several options.
Do I have a warrant?
You can easily find out.
- Recommended:
- Access the free online warrant search from the Oregon Courts here.
- Choose "Smart Search"
- Enter either your name or your court case number in the "Search Criteria" box.
- Solve the captcha "I'm not a robot" challenge
- Click "Submit."
- Toward the bottom of the page is a section called "Warrants" if you have a warrant. You can read the details of that by clicking the case number.
- Other ways:
- Contact the clerk of the court in the county your cases were filed in
- If you have one, ask your attorney if there is a way to clear the warrant without having to go to jail
- Show up at the jail to turn yourself in.
Tip: Find out in advance if you can about the best time to turn yourself in so you have a chance to be booked and released the same day. In Multnomah County Jail, that time is 3am.
